This is great news for me because my husband and I happen to travel and live in one of these antique camper vans. Ours dates back to 1973 and she is still traveling around the nation and climbing mountains, crossing deserts, cruising valleys and touring the highways and by ways of America. Take a look at our beautiful little home on wheels. She gets us where we need to go so we'll keep on making repairs in hopes that someday we can give her a total restoration.

We took this photo last April as we drove parts of Route 66 through Arizona and New Mexico. It was a fun trip that I'm willing to take over and over again. I love the old route through these states almost as much as I love our Dodge van. But she has taken us to some beautiful and unforgettable sites from coast to coast for two years now. We've had some incredible memorable experiences driving this Dodge Tradesman 300 while we travel to evangelize and explore God's land to witness to His people. Not all the experiences were pleasant but they are all part of our memories so I hold them fondly in my heart.

It will take multiple posts to share all of our experiences with you which is why it will be a regular feature of the Antique Roadsters blog. Just watch for a picture of the van to know when the story is part of this ongoing series.

Have safe travels this spring and summer as you visit the sights and sounds of America. Tip your hat to all the drivers of America's automobile legacy when you see them rolling down the road.
