In our travels, Cephas and I have seen some beautifully restored classic and antique cars. We've even video taped and photographed some so we thought it would be fun to create a blog all bout these antique roadsters and the people that drive them. There are lots of events and a lot of history surrounding the invention of the automobile. It's evolution has been phenomenal so rev your engine, put on your shine, put down the convertible top and let's start by cruising Route 66 America. We'll explore the cars, the people, the towns and memorial highway that is a tribute to man and the machine.
Maybe a car show or two will be in our path along the way. We've traveled Route 66 a time or two so we'll share that with you as well. I might have some photos or videos tucked away. I'll start you off with a few snapshots taken in New Mexico last April of Route 66. We spotted an antique firetruck parked at the gas station so it will be our first featured antique truck.
Enjoy the view! I'm enjoying the ride!
